Mrs. Kresl, Beth and Blake,

My sympathies go out to all of you and families for the loss of Col. Kresl, husband, father and grandfather. I'm holding on to a great many memories of him while growing up. As a friend's father, he was as good as they come. Having taken on that role now in my life, I try to be as understanding and as patient as he was. Believe me, with Kevin, Rick, Monroe and me running around together, Col. Kresl was really patient.

We wish to extend our sympathy to you. It isn't possible for us to be there but we will keep you in our thoughts and prayers. Wish we had been able to get to know the family but we know that John was so very proud of each of his children and grandchildren. He was a very kind and gentle person. As a cousin we are proud of all of his accomplishments. We wish you better health Joan. May you have many good family memories of John.
