John and Doris were our next door neighbors while I was growing up. I babysat their three daughters. What an admirable family. John and my dad were great friends. As my mother started having health challenges, John was always ready to assist with taking her to the doctor or whatever else she needed. He will be dearly missed by his wonderful family.
