We will miss you, Jack! You were such a presence on Callawassie Island, and a great friend to my parent's. Some of our best Callawassie memories are pulling fish up onto your dock, and I will miss seeing you taking your walks around the neighborhood. Rest in peace.

Jack Krumpe was certainly a dynamic man, who I well and fondly remember from his days as CEO of NYRA. Fittingly, I last saw him on a day in early September, as I was standing at the fence around the winner's circle at Belmont. There was Jack, Mrs. Tweedy and others.
