Daddy, it's been a year since you left; where did you go??

Dear Penny & Lorraine,
Well, heaven sure received one of the greatest. I am thankful that I was able to meet John this year at the condo. We had a lot of laughs and I will remember him fondly with a Brandy Manhatten in hand! He will be missed, but in our hearts forever. Hugs and prayers to you. Love, Pam

Dear Lorraine and family,
We were so very sorry to hear about John's passing. Though George Jr. and I only knew him a short time (on the CTA trips) it was evident what kind of person he was. We only had to look at that smile to realize the warmth and kindness he extended to all he met. He will be missed and the trips won't be the same without him. Our prayers are with you all. Your father was a very special person with a generous heart to all. He never met anyone he did not like and anyone that met John could not help but to love him. You are all strong willed because of your father and I am sure he is looking down on you and giving a thumbs up. You did a great job and you will continue to do so for him. We love you all.
