John was a great Marine. I remember when he was the Platoon Sergeant of the Silent Drill Team at 8th & I when I was in the D&B. The two units often traveled together performing all over the country. He was one of the sharpest of the sharpest Marines! I'm sure he has resumed his command with the Heaven't Gate Detachment. Semper Fi!

Kathleen:
I am a watchdog for other Jarheads like me. I remember John coming into the office in Building 58 to check in ever so often. I was Chief Clerk for the company back in 67-68. I will always remember him. God bless all of you.
