Not sure what to say?

John was my buddy for many years around Hilton Head Island. Such a wonderful man whose humor and kindness will be missed.

I love this picture so much. John and I became fast friends after he spent many lunches and dinners Eating at the same table as my step mom Arlene at Mapledowns. My heart is happy to know he is no longer suffering and is with his beloved once again. To Tom, Christine and the rest of his beautiful family know that I continue to keep John and your family in my daily prayers. May John rest in eternal peace love Dawn Monteleone

What a great man. Rest in peace.

So sorry for your loss! He had a great love of Mopars, like the Imperial! Prayers for your family!

He was a wonderful dad! supportive, protective, loving and caring . He gave us everything! Love, laughter, a safe home, lots of vacations. He worked very hard to support his family. Our sympathy to you all. We will not be able to be with you; but you'll be in our thoughts and prayers. May our Lord's promise of life everlasting give you comfort at this time.

So sorry for your loss but you know he and Pat are up there hosting their first gathering together! I have very fond memories and also feel badly that I have already returned to Florida and cannot be with you. Here’s to hugs and stories of those fun times!! Love and Prayers to you all! Sue

Mr. LaFave was a total legend. I know he’ll be dearly missed. I remember being on the catwalk high above the high school auditorium during a school play. He was filming while I was running the lights. Scary as it was up there due to the height, he always had me laughing and distracted by his great sense of humor. Sending love and prayers to the wonderful LaFave family!
