Not sure what to say?

Butch was the sweetest man. My sister Erma VanMeter took care of him for a long time. Everytime I came home grom Kansas I went to see him. I took him a bottle of wine and some scratch tickets a few months back. I enjoyed talking to him. I loved him like he was family. So sorry for everyone's loss of a great beautiful soul. Enjoy Heaven Butch❤

Although I've never met you Judi, please allow me to reiterate the obvious. Your father was an AMAZING man. He absolutely adored your mother and according to him, you were beyond the greatest gift he had ever received! I had worked at Clyde Evans and then Save-A-Lot for 30 years and he was a frequent shopper. After leaving that job I had lunch with your father at least every year close to his birthday. Last year on his birthday I visited him at Wyngate. I always looked forward to his smile...

May God's comfort surround you both.

Sending all my love to Butch and his family. The sharpest 99 year old I've ever met. If you had a question about stocks or bonds or even the coronavirus he was your go-to. Never missed a day reading the Wallstreet. I trusted every word that man said. On behalf of The Wyngate, he loved all of girls and we loved him. He taught us a lot in his short time living with us. We are forever great full Mr Butch.

So sorry to hear about Butch's passing. I so enjoyed talking with him when I visited mom (Jean Hines - next "door" neighbor). I am sure mom was there greeting him with a wave when he arrived in heaven! What a sweet, funny, intelligent man. Peace to you and your family.

Thinking of you and sending prayers. Your Dad was a wonderful person. I know everyone loved him. I'll always remember him as happy and joking around. Janice and Bob Reed

So sorry for your loss.

Butch was a wonderful person and Great Friend
I work with Butch at Memorial for 9 years and develop a long and lasting friendship
When I left the hospital and joined Lima Fire Dept Butch would make it a point to come see me often at Station #5 at Lincoln Park

Judi & Doug, so sorry to hear of your father's passing. I remember he and your mother well as a child in the east end. The neighborhood was very close then. May the grace of God comfort you in your time of grief.
