John Lander June 28, 1936 - November 26, 2010 John died of kidney failure and heart disease and was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Phyllis Jean. John is survived by sons, Mark (Monica) and Michael (Melanie); daughters, Catherine, Rachel (Andrew) and Jennifer (John); sisters, Sharon and Marylou; six wonderful grandchildren; four nieces; brother-in-law, George (Barbara) Springosky; and close friend, Sandy Brosnahan. John served in the Air National Guard for nine years and worked for the United States Postal Service for 43 years. John loved to be with his family, to read, to play the horses and Notre Dame.
