Not sure what to say?

Dr. Lanius was my surgeon and then my husband's surgeon about a year later. This was years ago. His voice was soft, and he looked you right in the face with kind eyes. He took time to talk about Lannius since we were from North Texas country. He took away our pain and enriched our lives. May the goodness live on.

Dr. Lanius saved my life by him being a skilled surgeon. God's Speed

John and Barbara were my mother's step children as she married Barbara's father late in life. They treated my mother as though she was their "real" mother and she loved them as her children. During the fifteen years she lived in Dallas John and Barbara helped her in so many ways. He was such a wonderful, kind man--there aren't many like him in this world. He will be missed! Love, the other Barbara

A wonderfully kind man who I worked with many years ago at Medical City.

A educated, gentleman physician. It was honor to work with him.

I worked as a surgeon with John Lanius for 30 years. Besides being a good doctor, he was a deft surgeon, always able to see how to solve a difficult problem in the OR, and do it quickly. This he did better than most.
He always had a calm demeanor and was easily the best wit in the hospital. This made him popular with all who were around him.
I miss him.

I have known John for over 25 years as his financial advisor. It is a relationship that I saviored and it is one that I will greatly miss. He was always such a gentleman and the one of the nicest man I have ever met.

It was such a pleasure to know Dr. Lanius over the years - I remember him fondly. Sincere condolences to Barb and the family.

Barbara, I just learned of John's death. Although our paths diverged after medical school I always valued him as a good friend and a fine person. My deepest sympathy for you and your families loss. John Arnold
