I'll be getting the boat ready for another year today. Its not the same without you. Theres been a lot of people on that little boat over the years,but I think we had the most fun,even though you barked a bit while mentoring. Maybe the grandchild and Joey can go this year and start to enjoy what we had.Thanks for all you did for all of us. You're the best POP. Take care of Mom and we'll talk again.......

Thinking of the whole family while I remember his laugh and many good times we all had together.I really like thinking he was still happily with Jackie. Many prayers go out to you all. Denise

Papa, we made it through the day. Grandma was a real champ. You'd be proud of how strong she stayed. They did a beautiful job folding your flag. It is an honor to be the granddaughter of such a proud man. We left you a few roses, a couple orange lillies, and Dad left you a green carnation. That was in addition to the beautiful arrangement mom and dad ordered for you. I have my fishing license, thanks to Dad. I'll do my best to catch a trout and/or bass... and maybe a billion punkin seed or...
