Not sure what to say?

A distinct pleasure to have known John. A gracious gentleman

worked with John for many years at Wesley. Enjoyed his cheerful attitude and our visits.

I've known John since we were kids. His parents and mine were great friends along with a few other couples that usually traded having dinners for all. John from age 3 began his numerous operations
for cancer of his leg. Although John went through so much, he always was jovial with a smile on his face. I have been fortunate enough to call him my friend and we always stayed in touch with one
another. I would remind him when the Yankees or NY Giants were playing of which he...

Lee & I both attended SG High School around the same time John & Nancy did & also Scotia Methodist when both of them & Mom & Dad attended. The last time we had time to sit & chat w/John was @ a SG 50+ Class Reunion @ Glen Sanders Mansion; such a great man he was. May he RIP.

Michele and Family, may his memories be with you all always. My condolences for your loss.

You were a wonderful friend, father to our children and poppy to our grandchildren. I will miss you and you'll always be in my heart. Till we meet again. Marion

My sincere condolences to John's family and friends. I've known John for 5 years as I cared for him at Wesley. We quickly became friends, he was so easy to love. His heart was bigger than the sun. I will truly miss our Yankees chats as it always brought back loving memories of how much my grandfather loved the Yankees. I will miss your little notes signed " love, your uncle John" Rest easy in paradise my special friend and fly high with the angels. I will always remember you!

I first met John when I married his nephew, Stan. He and his family came to our wedding in 1989. He then became "Uncle John" to me. For all the years thereafter, we kept in touch and had some visits. Uncle John will remain in my heart as being so kind, caring, and truly interested in everything we shared as a family and I am blessed to have had such a wonderful uncle.

I work at Wesley and John was a great guy when they had the balloon festival my daughter Donna and I were his date we had a great time
