Read MoreBarb and family, I am saddened to hear of John's passing. Please know our prayers are with your family. I have fond memories of past years with cousins and remember distinctly, as if yesterday, when John left for the US Navy. He gave me a goodbye hug, special for a young cousin.

John...a super guy ...and a great brother to my friend Nancy.. we spent some wonderful hours on Miner Lake with the kids many summers ago...he welcomed us always...he shared what he had...such a generous man..with the best sense of humour..... I am sad to learn he is no longer with us...but happy to know for sure he is in the land of plenty and watching over his family as always....love to you all and my thoughts are with you Nancy, Gary and all of Johns family.....Chris West and family.

MY UNCLE was great man .I remmber one cold winter day ,i loaded up my ice fishing gear up headed to miner lake to ice fish on my own head out on ice of boat landing bright sunning day place my bucket down drilling hole in the ice .looking around i saw my uncle about 50 ft away from me were iwas going sit. walk over to him to say hi . he said what a suprise to be there at same time on ice, he said grab your stuff come sit here it the hot spot for bluegill fishing .we sat for hrs catching fish...
