Not sure what to say?

Dear Skee,
It has been almost a year since you left this earth and your absence has been felt by many. So many things I see remind me of you, dance clips of Fred Astaire and Eleanor Powell, advertisements for Marie Callander foods, a city bus, a Lion King billboard (thanks for joining me, that was a great evening), even the older gentleman who sits in the same pew with me at 7:30 am Sunday mass (I found out he's from Indiana, Pa and a big Steelers and Pirates fan). Our evening phone...

My GREAT Uncle Skee,
It has been two months and six days since you went home. Seems like an eternity. I am missing you tons buddy. Keep sending me those "spider signs". I hope I am making you proud. You ARE a blood relative in my heart, even though you didn't understand! I love you Uncle Skee. You keep teaching me, even in your death. 8888888 Laura

Hi Skee! Oh how I'll miss our nightly phone calls. I hope you'll still listen to me, because I know I'll still have conversations with you. Anyone who met you is a better person for having known you. You are a real treasure Uncle Skee. I truly feel blessed to have been a part of your life.
Please keep a special watch out for my kids, they could use an extra guardian angel. I guess you'll have a "front row" seat at all their games from now on. I love you.

Skee!
What can I say you always lit up the room when you came for Thanksgiving or even Christmas I will never forget all the great times and how everytime you saw me you always made me smile by saying "Wow Katherine you are lookin like a movie star everytime I see you!" I will never forget the memories I had with you!

Skee, you were the greatest example of a gentleman and lived your life as I would hope we all would-kind and thoughtful and always appreciative of others and their efforts. I will miss our conversations and your insights to the world and hope you send us signs you're still watching over us! Have fun up there dancing with the stars!!! Love, Shelley

skee,
I know you are dancing with mary and forever know you will be in my heart. Thank you for your years of support and guidance to follow my dreams. I love you.

Skee,

You will be greatly missed by many. Thanks for always asking how my dad was doing. Your care for others should set an example to us all. I will miss you.

SKEE,
I have so many fond memories of our times together, and will miss your dry sense of humor immensely.Every time we spent together you could make me laugh. Thank you so very much.
Love,
Scott

I last saw John at my friend Betty's birthday party in Pittsburgh in May 2006. He looked great and had his usual great smile, compliments and was having a good time. I've known John for the past 20 years thru Betty and Joan Dodds. He did indeed live life to the fullest, as we all should do. He will be missed by his family, his Pittsburgh friends, his Las Vegas friends and by me, his Baltimore friend. -- My deepest sympathies to his family and friends Betty and Lottie. --Kaye Ruskey
