Not sure what to say?

Mrs. Lathrop & Family,

Again, please accept my condolences. It was an honor to attend Jack's memorial service and he will always be remembered for his kindness and sense of humor while being challenged by ill health. I only wish that I could have gotten to know him sooner before the time I stopped by for the first visit two years ago. He is appreciated by his fellow Delta Sig Brothers as being one of the Founding Fathers of our undergraduate fraternity chapter at WSU. If it weren't for...

Grandma Ellida,
I just found out today that your dear John has passed and I am so sorry to hear it. I know you will miss him terribly but he told me that you were a wonderful wife to him and knowing that he loved you so may make it easier to go on without him. He is at peace and I pray that you may be too -- at least in time. So glad I got to see you both recently!
Love, Pandora Eyre & Family

Grandma Ellida,
You had a way with Grandpa, gentle and stern, at the same time. I know he adored you. Our thoughts and prayers are with you in this trying time. Know that he lives on and is sharing all his crazy antics with those he is with now. You are an amazing woman and deeply loved. Deepest sympathies and prayers for a peaceful heart. I love you.

Grandma Ellida,

Ellida~We received the news on Saturday that John passed away. It saddens both Curt and me that we had come so close to a visit with you both, a month or so ago. Time really doesn't wait does it.....The two of you created lots of good memories~Keeping them close will help you get through this sad time. You are in our hearts and our prayers.
