Miss Dot and Brent, it is with a heavy heart and deep shame that I am just now finding out about John's passing in this fashion(on the internet)!! Heavy heart because he was much admired and I thought a close friend even though we hadn't seen each other and very seldom talked on phone! Deep shame because of the fact that I should have stayed in closer contact and then I would have known of his sickness and passing as it occurred!
Please accept my most heartfelt condolences on yours,...

Prayers to all of the family. Saying goodbye to a Dad is very hard. Will be thinking of you in the days and months ahead.
