Not sure what to say?

Sweet dreams John. Your contributions will be remembered as will your smile.

The Washington State Veterans Cemetery extends our deepest sympathies to the family of John W. Laughlin for your loss. We honor him for the service and sacrifice he has made for our nation, he is a true hero.

John was the embodiment of nice. His manner and his speech, his wise views and his teddy bear demeanor were so wonderful. I spent some time with John on the Past Lt Governor's Conmmittee and enjoyed so much every minute of his time. A huge loss to the family and to all of us. May peace be with all of you family members and may John greet us as we join him with our Father. Our prayers are for you and John.

Myself and other employees of Seattle Children's Museum never had the privilege of meeting John W. Laughlin. Over the past couple of days I believe we have had a small glimpse of this man -- educator, businessman, gentle man, and Toastmaster/storyteller. Wrapping all of that together with the vision of embodying the Spirit of Santa, and my, what a vision of life well-lived, reaching so many. I trust the family will be able to be reminded of him each time they see someone else continuing...

I remember John fondly, he gave many fine memories to enjoy, particularly watching him rehearse for Ham on Regal!

Indeed there is not a finer example of a Gentle Man & Loving Soul. I am so lucky to have known & empowered people with John - Nora & family our hearts are saddened and over joyed that we have a new loving guardian.
