I worked with John in the Propulsion SPO in the early 90s when I was a junior officer (1991-1996). I remember John as someone who truly cared about the work he did, cared about the people he worked beside, and cared about the pilots who strapped on a F110 (single) engine when they "went to work." I worked for John for several years on the F100-229 program. He was a terrific engineer, a great supervisor and a fine gentleman. Sincerest condolences to his family during this difficult time.

John was one of my supervisors at WPAFB. We were also friends. So sorry he has passed. God bless his family.

John and I join the Carillon Rail and Steam club about the same time. I always enjoyed working with him at the club. After we moved away, I always looked forward to coming back and seeing him at Carrilon Park running the railroad!
