Not sure what to say?

Sarah, Jan and Patty, we are keeping you in our thoughts and prayers. Leslie was truly one of the greatest of "the greatest generation". Our world is a safer and happier place because of him.

Pat and family, you are in my thoughts and prayers. May the days ahead be filled with peace and happy memories of this awesome man.

Mrs. Lawler, Jan and Patty, you are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Even though it has been a trying year for the entire Lawler family, it is comforting to know that all the boys are having their own family reunion on the most beautiful golf course imaginable.
Your presence and laughter will truly be missed, Uncle Leslie!

We will miss you Uncle Leslie! We girls will all be ok because that is what you boys would have wanted! Just enjoy your Momma and Daddy and brothers! Please give Daddy a hug from me! I love you!!!

Mr. Lawler was the male role model I didn't have in my life. He didn't judge me. His lake house on Lake Kiowa was the place many great memories were made. He let me rent his rental house after a very trying divorce in my life. He and Mrs. Lawler were my "secret" parents-two people I always wished for. They always treated me as if I was "one of the family".

I will miss the Saturday breakfasts at the club and the next great story that John had to tell. I wish only the very, very best for Sarah and the entire Lawler family during this difficult time.

I flew as John's copilot way back in CV-240's & DC-6's. Yrs later he would always tell me how much he appreciated my help on a inst. approach to Little Rock in a hard driving rain on a short runway. He never forgot that day. A fine pilot and a true gentleman, such a pleasure to fly with Col John.

May you rest in peace Grandpa John. Many prayers for Grandma Sarah, Patty, and Jan. Love you all.
