Not sure what to say?

I will never forget you, Johnny. You were my best friend in our early teenage years.

This guy is my grandpa! I’m the grandkid he never got to meet. He died right before I was born. Reading this I smiled so much. I feel so warm. I’ve heard so many stories. Love you gramps. Rest In Peace

We were so sorry to hear of John's passing. The last time Tracy saw him at the courthouse, John asked if Tracy and I would come to his services. Tracy promised we would. John passed the day after we left town for two weeks and so we are just now finding out he passed while we were gone.

We are so sorry we were not able to be there and pay our last respects.

Tracy recently retired after 29 years as a prosecutor with Lucas County and I was a court reporter with Lucas County...

Allison and family: I am so sorry for your loss. I am thinking of you always and especially during this difficult time. Please call me if you need anything. All my love to you and your family.

Angie, I was out of town for work and got back yesterday and my mom told me about John. I am so very sorry! I feel absolutely horrible I missed the funeral services. John was a very special man and I will forever remember him. He was such a giving man. He gave me the opportunity to go with you guys to Vegas and Disney 10 years ago and those were times I will always treasure! I remember when the airline lost my luggage and John took me to a Disney shop to buy me a few things to get me thru...

Dear Peggy, Warren & Miller/Lawrence Families,
Our deepest sympathy during this time of your loss. Our prayers are with you all. Keep all the memories of Johnny close to you.

Vicki & Michael Smith

Sue and family, it truely was a pleasure being one of John's nurses! I just want you to know that you and your entire family are in my prayers! Cherish all your memories you have to help you get through this difficult time!(which it sounds like you have a ton)

Uncle John....how can you say that and not smile? :) He was a wonderful person to me, and his entire family. I was constantly getting in trouble in my younger days in high school and even again when i was 19, and everytime something would go to court, John was always there for me in and out of the courtroom. He looked out for me, tried to help me, and through it all each experience taught me one more lesson to learn and use in life. I'm now 23 with a new wife and child on the way, and making...

John was more than my wonderful cousin's husband. To me, he was truly family. To know him was to love him.
Although I know lawyer's must wear a lot of "hats" to be effective and successful, John always went beyond and wore them all . . . and wore them well.
He was an incredible listener and his sense of humor made him so much fun to be around.
His relationship with Sue was something to be envied. They were an amazing couple!! I'd like to think that they were the best thing...
