LENOIR - John Payton Laws, 84, passed away peacefully July 31, 2007. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 tonight at Pendry's Funeral Home. A service to celebrate his life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, at Pendry's Chapel. Internment will be held privately.
