John Layher

It's an honor to remember John one year later. Often life's events happen to me and I reflect on experiences or conversations John and I had. He and I worked closely and would discuss how we were going to assist farmers or solve a problem. He even assisted me with plumbing when my family moved to Saline. We also talked about theological issues when we would eat lunch sitting on the tail gate of the pick up He lived his beliefs and was faithful. His history and personal relationships...

John and I worked together for five years (1986-1991). He had rapport with the agricultural community and the office staff built on trust and experience. He was genuine and humble. He was always ready to help and contribute. We often would ride to work and home together as we both lived in Saline. John would share stories and wisdom based on his many experiences. He is a friend, co-worker and honorable person that has had positive influence on many people.
