Not sure what to say?

I am so sorry to learn of John's sudden death. I knew him for many years and he was a helpful and honest business person. I just recently bought tires from him and wished him well in his latest business. He was a truly fine man and I send his family and friends my thoughts and prayers. So sad.

Debbie and family,
I just heard about your brother. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

My wife and I offer our deepest condolences to John,Sr. and all the Lear family on John Jr's. untimely passing. We have been John's customers for about 14 years and during all these years he was always honest, tremendously skilled as mechanic and business man and did it all with a fine sense of humor. He would always go the extra step to assure our 2002 93 Saab and other vehicles were repaired and maintained properly. He was as unique as they come, an honest and nice person.

John fixed my first 2000 Saab 9-3 when no one else could. His honesty and unlimited wealth of knowledge gave me the piece of mind to buy two more 9-3's from him without hesitation. He will be greatly missed.

I have been a customer of John's for more than 8 years. He was the most honest businessman that I've ever encountered which is particularly telling in the auto repair industry. And he definitely had a great sense of humor. Deepest condolences to his family and employees. He will surely leave a void in many people's lives.

I first met him in his little shop on top of Branford hill and watched him grow into the success that he had today. He was always had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to joke around. He was one of the few business that I loved to stop by to visit and maybe do more kidding than business. Since I retired I haven't been around the area too much; but I was going to stop by last...
