Not sure what to say?

To the family of my Uncle Jack. I will miss him also. His sense of humor always stood out to me (after I was old enough not to be afraid of his larger than life presence). Maybe his family and collegues enjoyed it also. He reminded me of his mother, my grandmother Gladys, in this respect. My deepest sympathies.

I have been privileged to know Jack and his family when I was a member of the faculty of the Physics Department of the University of Arizona (1969 to 1978) and I especially remember the Spring and Fall camping trips to Mexico with his family and that of other young members of the faculty. Our family looked forward to these for months in advance. He was a good man and his passing was way too soon.

My sincere condolences to his family.

Carole and I send our sympathy to you, and hold you in our thoughts.

My prayers are lifted up for all of the family. During my years in the UA Physics Dept, I was privileged to know Dr. Leavitt and enjoyed talking with him. He was a Special Man!

I am praying for you all, and hoping that the Lord's peace will be with you.
All my best,
Willie Jordan-Curtis

We love you Jack
