Not sure what to say?

Jesse and Rebecca, I'm so sorry to learn of John's passing. I have many fond memories of him, as I played with Jesse in the '80s. He taught me to build a bird house, and lots of other creative skills. He was also so tender and kind when I fell and got the wind knocked out of me. I remember the cool music he used to share with us. He was a great guy. I'm sure you miss him dearly. Deepest sympathies to you and your loved ones.

I only just today learned with a heavy heart of John's passing. We were good friends in high school, where together with two other friends we formed an inseparable skiing posse. All of us were enthusiastic, capable (John was a superb skier), and unrelentingly cheerful. Many winter weekends all through high school the four of us would head up the canyon road to Alta for a day of skiing bliss. Even after all these years I think of those days with much fondness. Rest in peace, friend. I'm...

What a beautiful tribute to John´s life. I remember him as a kind, gentle human being who loved his family. I´m sending my love to you Rebecca and Jesse.

I will always remember John´s warm smile, his big heart, the way he made everyone in the room feel important! He served as a great role model not only for his students, but for his peers. He was a gift to all who knew him. Mary Pat Ament Retired EL school designer

Our deepest sympathies to the family. May memories of better times carry you through this time of grief.

Rebecca and Jesse, John was a great contributor to the Judge community while he was there. He was a dedicated, creative, and passionate teacher, a good friend to me personally, and a genuine person. I have fond memories of skiing Powder Mountain´s back country, backpacking on the Escalante River, singing Christmas Carols at the top of our lungs at a faculty party, playing basketball in the Judge gym, and sharing a malt beverage or two with John. He has impacted multiple educational...

I´m so sorry to read this. Le Cav and I started at OES about the same time, and we became friends. He was funny and a bit irreverent and open to trying new things. He was also very handy and generous with his time, and helped me with a few projects at my house. My deepest condolences to Rebecca and Jesse and all his family.

I taught at JM with John. He loved all things wild. A good man and a great friend. " The wonder of the world, the beauty and the power, the shapes of things, their colors, lights, and shades, these I saw. Look ye also while life lasts." Rest in peace John.

Kind, gracious, smart , witty and thoughtful - John Lecavalier . We will miss you ! Privileged to have know you. Great memories of winter camping at the coast. May your next adventure bring you more
