Not sure what to say?

The Daniel Boone Council, Boy Scouts of America, and all Scouts past and present, are honored to have either known or heard of Dr. Ledbetter. His legacy will live on in Scouting.

I was honored to be one of John's partners at Mt. Neurological Center for many years. He was a brilliant and dedicated physician who always treated his patients with respect. As a young doctor, I learned much from John, including the importance of giving back to the community from which we received so much. He touched many lives, including mine. His legacy lives on among us.

Becky and family,
My thoughts and prayers go out to you at this difficult time. Mr. Ledbetter truly lived a blessed life and leaves his family with treasured memories that will make them laugh, cry, and smile while keeping his spirit alive. God Bless

I was blessed to be a child visiting in Doc's home along with his daughter Becky. He was an inspiration in all aspects and is truely missed. I am sure he is walking the mountains with others that he loved and admired. Love to the family, Kathy Bunn Chavez

i had the honor to work with Dr. Ledbetter in the Weblos class of Troup 8 in the 1970s. I don't think I ever met a more dedicated man to scouting and to his Chuch. He was certainly an inspiration, and will be greatly missed. My deepest sympathy to all the family. Gus Morris, Sr.

Dr Ledbetter was one of the Doctors who came to the Hendersonville office of Mountain Neurological where I worked with him. He will be missed by Don & I.

Ah, what wonderful memories I have of scouting with Doc. He was an inspiration to all who knew him, including my son Derek. It was my privilege to be an adult scout leader with Doc. He will be missed but he goes on in all he led and influenced over the years. Thank God for his life.
