John Dylon Ledesma

John Dylon Ledesma, 17, entered the Lord's heavenly kingdom on Thursday, August 18, 2022.

John was born on September 19, 2004 in Harlingen, Texas to Felipe Ledesma Jr. and Victoria Garcia. He was currently enrolled at Santa Maria High School and would have been a senior this year. John was soft spoken, kind hearted, and he liked helping his friends. He was well known and liked at his school & community. He liked bodybuilding, enjoyed motor cross, and loved riding & working on his dirt bike. He also enjoyed playing video games. John will be remembered for his great sense of humor, laughter, being funny, and always making us smile.

John is survived by his loving family to cherish his wonderful memory, his parents, father, Felipe Ledesma Jr. & mother, Victoria Garcia; sisters, Melissa Landaverde, Clarissa Garcia, & Lizette Contreras; brother, Manuel Landaverde; maternal grandparents, Otilio Garcia & Susana Mata; and numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, other relatives, & friends.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 24, 2022 from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with the prayer of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Trinity Funeral Chapel of the Holy Spirit. The funeral procession will depart at 9:30 am for a funeral Mass of Christian burial to be held Thursday, August 25, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Las Rusias. Interment will follow to Las Rusias Cemetery.
