Read MoreJohn and I hung out a lot during our junior high days. He was smart, funny and a great friend. Last time I saw him he gave me a behind the scenes tour of Grand Central Station showing me some of the engineering hanged he designed during the renovation. I´m sad to hear he passed and happy that our lives crossed.

John was an honrable individual with lots of interesting stories and knowledge to share from his many life experiences. He was humble and had a warm, kind heart. He worked extremely hard even in his later days. Sorry to hear of his passing - He will be missed.

I remember John from grade school, Mark Twain Elementary. Even as young as the third grade he impressed me as being intelligent. I´m so sorry to hear this. Sounded like he had an important job and was well thought off.
