Not sure what to say?

Captain John was a super hero of a man, a father, a husband and a grampa. I loved his stories. I loved his additude and that special twinkle in his eye. He will be missed.

Deidra,Peter, and Jay, your father was a kind and gracious man. I remember going fishing out at the race for blues with Jay and John, my introduction to blue fishing, quite and adventure. I also remember John and Jay trying to catch Boomer when he would excape and hold people captive so they could not return to their vehicles. I look back, and smile fondly, of the times spent with you both. My thoughts and prayer are extended to all of you.

I was sadden to read of you loss.....
May his soul R.I.P.
I worked for him at Legnos & Cramer and he was a wonderful and caring man.

I knew John when he first opened his office on Gillete Street. I delivered his mail everyday, five days a week for twenty years, until his retirement. He owned a boat- large boat-I owned a boat, a small one.I docked my boat at Palmer's cove; John docked his in the canal at Groton Long Point. Everyday John called me into his office to talk about fishing. He treated me like a son. He told me something I will never forget. "JJ If you're a fool the ocean will find you out."I will miss him.
