Lehmkuhl, John Christian Age 40, passed away September 7, 2009, at his home in Elm Grove, Wisconsin, after a fierce battle with cancer. Born in Milwaukee February 18, 1969, he received a degree in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1991, and graduated Marquette University High School in 1987. John worked for Paine Communications, Inc until his death, and enjoyed landscaping, fishing, restoring cars and small engines, as well as computer networking and electrical design. John is survived by his mother Kristin A. (nee Rasmussen); his grandmother Dorothy A. Rasmussen of Brookfield, WI; his sister Sarah A. (Derek) Hyde of Brookfield; his brothers Michael J. of Washington, DC and Gregory M. of Cherry Hill, NJ; his niece and goddaughter Kathryn H. Hyde, and nephews Thomas W. and Joseph C. Hyde; his aunts Jeanne (Paul) Miller of Brookfield, Lynn (Gary) Schutt of Marietta, GA and Kathy (Peter) Hoppe of Midlothian, VA, and his uncles James (Kim) Lehmkuhl of Elm Grove and Robert C. Rasmussen of Northern California; as well as several cousins. He is preceded in death by his father Robert M. Lehmkuhl. Visitation 2PM, Friday, September 11, 2009, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 1260 Church St., Elm Grove, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 4PM. Friends and relatives are welcome to gather with the family afterward at Maggianos in Wauwatosa. Donations in lieu of flowers to Marquette University High School, Milwaukee, WI, or the School Sisters of Notre Dame, Elm Grove, WI, are appreciated. My thoughts and prayers go out to you. I went to St. Mary's with John close to 30 years ago. He was always kind and fun to be around. 40 is too young. Rest in Peace.
