John H. Lewis

John and I shared many spirited debates over politics and religion and woodworking as we worked together on a number of (ironically) liturgical/church furnishings projects. I learned more about Colorado geology on a road trip with John than this Seattle-boy could possibly know on a trip to a church near Boulder to deliver an altar, pulpit and a baptismal font. I wish John and I could argue one more time over coffee... I remember John and smile...

I have such fond memories of John. Such colorful stories he would tell to me - Gwen Francis, Bob Francis, Don Green and Bill Burgess. He was so funny! Thinking of him makes me smile. What a treasured friend!
