Not sure what to say?

We were saddened when Dr. Lewis had to retire. Now even more at his death. Our puppies miss him too. The DuCotes

Helen, It is with great sorrow that David and I learned of John's death. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

John will be missed by all who knew him. I am so glad I got to visit with him at the 40th reunion of our FHS class. My deepest sympathy to Helen and the rest of his family.

It's been a long time since I've seen John but I remember him well through my sister's friends. My deepest sympathy and my prayers are with the family.

Helen - I am a member of the Class of '63. I am so sorry to hear of John's death. Had I know earlier I would have attended the funeral. I live in Northern AL on Smith Lake. My husband passed 2 1/2 years ago. I had lost touch with my classmates until about six years ago. I wish I could have seen John before he died. My prayers are with you and your family. My late husband & I volunteered so many hours in animal rescue. I have 10 rescued pets of my own now.

John was a huge part of the FHS Class of 63. He will be missed but his antics will live on forever.
Love to Helen and Family,
Karen W Long

Although it has been a long time since I was in touch, the Lewis family will always be dear to me. My warmest sympathies.

Helen,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Mother and I think of you often!

I am sorry for your loss. John and I were fourth cousins. His paternal grandfather, Lemuel ("Lem") Lewis, and my maternal great-grandfather, Isaiac Joseph ("Joe") Lewis, were brothers. Please know that I am praying for you in your loss.
