Remember with great fondness making calls on Vancouver Island in the 60's with John. He visited our home and he was delighted with Grace's home made bread fresh from the oven. What a great happy man to be around. Thanks for great memories John.

John will be truly missed. He was a great man with a big heart. We were honored to have known him and been touched by his great accomplishments.

Such a great and wonderful man - he will be missed by so many. Sending much love and prayers to you all.

Love you forever Uncle John. One of my favorite childhood stories was of the time when you, as a small boy, wrestled that northern pike the size of an ore, and landed it on shore. Then you would show us the scars on your arms from battling that mighty fish. Rest In Peace, dear gentle soul, and may you always find the sweetest fishing spot throughout eternity.

Mr. Liautaud...such a sweet spirited man...my happiest memories were seeing him with his boys...and just beaming when Great Grandson Josh was around. He changed lives of so many...truly a blessing to have known him.

We spent many evenings dining and playing cards with John and Lorraine. We went to St Augustine to vacation with John and Lorraine and in our luggage was our deck of cards. He certainly loved playing cards and having fun with friends. We will never forget his love of life and his generosity.

When you speak of John speak not with tears for thoughts of John should not be sad. Let memories of the times you shared give you comfort for his life was rich because of you.

John was such a gracious, generous and heartwarming gentleman. We will remember always his smile and welcoming gestures when visiting in his home or at social gatherings. His unconditional good humor made you smile and laugh with him always. John will be missed by his many friends in his winter home of Islamorada, Florida.
