John F. LICATA

John was my cousin. I remember him as a totally decent, class-act individual! My father, Joseph Tirone, got Johnny started in music. My father played the sax and clarinet. That is where Johnny got his start. I vividly recall times when John was at our house taking lessons from my father. John's parents lived two blocks down the street from us; we were both on Busti Avenue.

My musical time spent with John have been some of the best times I can remember. We have not only lost a great musician but a wonderful friend. My condolences to his family

My deepest condolences to John's family at this time. Although we only played music together a few times, I'll miss his warm sound and personality.

Take comfort in knowing that now you have a special guardian angel to watch over you.
