Not sure what to say?

I learned of John's passing a good eight months after the fact, and to say I was horribly saddened is putting it mildly. I'd known John since jr high school days, and of all the friends and acquaintances from those days John was the one who unfailingly kept in touch throughout the years. His friendship and caring meant a lot to me. The following is gonna sound a little silly, but bear with me. Years ago a mutual friend mentioned to me that John was a huge fan of blueberries and had them for...

Still miss my longtime friend. RIP John.

I just learned of John's passing. I wondered why I hadn't heard from him lately; he was always so faithful about keeping in touch. To say I'm devastated is putting it mildly. I've known John since junior high school, but living on the west coast has limited my ability to personally visit with him. I'm so glad my brother and I did visit with him a number of years ago and again more recently when my wife and I took a cruise ship out of Lauderdale. So RIP John. You were one of the truly good...

John was a good friend from school. We graduated from EHS in Washington D.C. and attended many reunions together. He was a good friend of my late husband from grade school and always stayed in touch. RIP John and say hi to Buddy. Deepest sympathies to Dorothy and the family. We will miss him.

I will never forget you John. I knew you since 1951 and knowing you meant so much to me. Test your n peace, my dear friend.

I remember the calls and the special notes Mr. Linthicum sent to his friend, my Father, Sen. Thomas V Mike Miller Jr.. Always remember the classic Gus & Johns! Rest in peace friend and say hello to Dad!

My heart is truly broken. John has been my friend since Sunday School. Rest in peace my good friend!

John and I graduated in the class of 1953 from Eastern High School in D.C. Years later I saw John at many high school reunions. Such a nice guy & a real gentleman.
