Though I never met you Sharon, I send my heartfelt condolences to you and your family for the loss of John. I come from Strangolagalli and grew up in Endicott also, our families were friends and i was so happy to hear of his accomplishments in life and family. May knowing he´s at peace and in heaven with his parents bring a bit of comfort in the days ahead.

John was like a second dad to me growing up, as Jenny's best friend, and I am so grateful for his warmth, tutelage and inclusion. I worked for him later as a college student, and found him to be wise, forward-thinking, fair, and madly in love with his whole family. When Whitney was born he was beside himself with joy. I will miss his good hugs and easy way with kids and animals. He did so much good to shape the world to his vision; we are all better off because he was with us. Sending love...
