John Littlewood

John had so much experience and information, and he was dedicated to creating a first class collection. He willingly shared his knowledge, and he taught me so much, but I could never have achieved his level of expertise. John made me a better librarian and I thank him for that.

I worked with John for 4 years, first as a student worker, then as a GA in the Gov Docs library. I had the utmost respect for him and found him slightly intimidating because he was so knowledgeable. But he was also kind and funny. He left a lasting impact on me as a librarian and a person. Rest in peace.

A fond memory of a good colleague and generous friend. May his memory be a blessing.

Worked with John Littlewood in the past! Talked with him many times on the phone. Our deepest sympathy upon his passing. He was a very nice man!
