Not sure what to say?

I cannot believe 16yrs have flown by since John's passing. Memories of John are as vivid as if they happened just a few weeks ago. I still miss his energy and true drive for each of us to always strive to do our best, no matter the challenge. I think about his encouragement when I am feeling burdened. What a good man! Love to the Locke family. I hope everyone is healthy and happy. Jeff Fraser

I feel very fortunate to have known John and to know his family.
I have a ton of fond memories of John that trace back to the early ‘90’s. I often flash back to being there to take part in his brown belt TKD test on through the many times we shared time in our TKD and karate pursuits.

Being the open and generous person he was, John open up his dojang to permit me to practice and teach the Isshinryu style. With that I was able to learn from John’s teachings and share my experiences...

Our entire family valued the time we spent in Tae Kwon do with John.
He will always be the standard to which we measure others in the feild. No one will be able to measure up to the repect we have for the Locke Family.

JOHN LOCKE, the ‘Mighty Oak Tree’ who introduced me to his martial arts family and the alternative MA way in Isshinryu Karate, became my friend and will live on in my heart and fondest memories of cross-training at the Springfield Dojang. His passion for Tae Kwon Do and the other sports he enjoyed became clear early on and he has surely touched the lives of so many students and friends along the way, including us Issinryu karate-ka. We are truly blessed for knowing him. MARTHA, JOHN...

All four of us loved John Locke. He had such a heart for children. Tim and Teddy greatly enjoyed the years they spent doing Taekwondo with John, Martha, John Knight, Shelby and Christian. We've also enjoyed several seasons of swim team together here in Daventry. He had a passion for great swimming and taekwondo, always teaching the children to try their best and excel. We are sorry to see him come to the end of his journey, but look forward to seeing him again someday in our eternal, Heavenly...

John Locke was truly an inspiration to an entire community, with the heroic way in which he fought cancer. We only hope to have half the strength and courage he had, in our times of trial. He will live on in the hearts and minds of this community for a long time to come. Please call on us, your Church & Community members for anything, and we will be there for you.

My prayers go out to Martha and the family. John was a dedicated man in everything he did. I had the pleasure of working with him and recall our many fun times. He will be greatly missed.

We have many memories of John Locke. A few words come to mind: energy, fanaticism, fitness, quirkiness, discipline, morality, Roboskier! Our thoughts and prayers are with you Martha, and for the rest of the family during these difficult times.

I am blessed to have known John L. Locke. I recall my first visit to the Springfield Dojang inquiring about Tae Kwon Do lessons, I felt an immediate connection. In fact, the entire Locke family opened their doors and hearts to my family, and we have created many fond memories.

In our hearts John will always be remembered as a genuine inspiration, a patriot, a teacher, and mostly as a dear Friend. May God's grace fill the Locke Family and comfort them.

I can just see it now,...
