Not sure what to say?

Dr. Longenhagen read EKG's at Sacred Heart Hospital for over 30 years. All of us who worked in the EKG DEPT. are deeply saddened by his death. It was truly a pleasure to work for him and we will always be grateful for all that he did for our department. His kindness, compassion, and sense of humor will always be remembered. We would like to extend our heartfelt sympathy to his family. May it comfort all of you to remember that one day there will be another meeting place where you will not be...

TO THE LONGENHAGEN FAMILY I KNEW DR. LONGENHAGEN AS A RESULT OF TAKING A NEIGHBOR TO HER APPOINTMENTS WITH HIM. SHE THOUGHT HE WAS A WONDERFUL DOCTOR AND OFTEN SAID HE SAVED HER LIFE BY DIAGNOSING HER ILLNESS WHEN NO OTHER DOCTOR COULD. HIS KINDNESS TO HER WAS THE ONE THING SHE LOOKED FORWARD TO ON EACH VISIT. HE WAS TRULY KIND, SUCH A WONDERFUL ATTRIBUTE. SINCERELY, A FRIEND OF A PATIENT

To the Longenhagen Family:

My deepest sympathy to you on the passing of your husband and father. I first met Dr. Longenhagen when he would come to admit his patients who were in the Emergency Room. He was one of the nicest and kindest doctors I encountered in my 24 years at Sacred Heart Hospital. He will be greatly missed by many people.

Karen and family,
My sincere condolences to you and your family. We are each blessed to have had him in our lives and our community. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.

I will always remember our conversations at the nurse's station. I can still see in my mind's eye the sight of him sitting at John's bedside. He was always smilling. He never showed anything but kindness to me and especially our patients. He deffinitely will be missed.

My heartfelt condolences to the family of Dr. Longenhagen. Thirty-one years ago he was instrumental in assuring the safe arrival of our fifth child. He remained more than just a physician. He was a friend and we have been blessed to have known him. I also was a nurse at Sacred Heart and know what good things he did there.

JOHN WAS A VERY WELL RESPECTED DOCTOR.A WONDERFUL WONDERFUL HUMANBEING. A VERY KIND MAN INDEED. WE WILL MISS HIM DEARLY. PLEASE ACCEPT MY HEARTFUL CONDOLENCES.

To the Family of Dr. Longenhagen:

My deepest sympathy. He held a special place in my heart as he worked so hard to keep my husband alive. Now the two of them can solve the mysteries of the world in their new home.

Jack was a physician in the best tradition of the healer, a teacher, and a compassionate human being. I am priveleged to have practice medicine under his leadership at Sacred Heart Hospital.
