We will miss John's presence but the memories of him are forever! My late husband, who served with him in the Air Force, had such tremendous respect and admiration for him, for his intellect, his patriotism, and his endearing friendship. He was truly a Great Man and a dear friend!! Rest in Peace, John. My condolences to the family and may they find comfort in those loving memories 'Beyond the Sunset'.

John and I worked together at GSFC and lived near each other in Bowie Maryland during the Gemini missions. John was the most interesting and honest man I ever met. We traveled together to Guymas Mexico several times. He was never at a loss to state his opinion on any subject.
If ever there was a man to enter heaven it is john. Our God will welcome him.

For close to 50 years John and Jean were dear friends to Mark and I. We shared many good times and lots of laughs. He will be missed. Our sympathy to Bob, Mark,Susan and Nancy. May he Rest In Peace.
