John P. Louderman, III, passed away peacefully on August 1, 2025, after what can only be described as a heroic battle with cancer. The following are John's own words, written just a few weeks prior to his death, for a high school reunion:"As you know, I have been practicing family law for 50...

Not sure what to say?

I´m very saddened. Robin, I´m always in your corner, so reach out if you´d like. Mountain led to my first Golden after JB went to rainbow bridge. His name was BJ. I generally had 2 at a time, so I´m on #8 with Austin. I´ll always remember our Sunday morning softball games where Mountain & JB were together ( famous friends AND enemies) and if/when John and I would get into a "safe-out-safe-out" disagreement, the dogs would fight too. It´s ingrained in my skull. My deepest sympathies.

Single Memorial Tree

John and I have been great friends for 60 years or so. We didn´t speak much about that fact. We didn´t have to, it just was. Grove of 100 Memorial Trees

I am so saddened to hear of John's passing. We had so much fun and made so many warm memories at the marina, on the golf course (and after dinners)! I still visualize Canyon running down C dock to board the "Rockin Robin"! My condolences to you, Robin, and the world lost an incredible role model. Sending love and warm hugs.

Robin, Thinking of you and John. The obituary in the paper today was an incredible tribute to John, his life´s work, and the life you both made together. Joan

I'm so sorry for your loss.

John was a decent, kind, sweet, loyal man. His death which I did not expect was a reminder to me to keep in touch with friends from my early days in Madison. John was a good person, and I´m sorry I didn´t get a chance to say goodbye. My condolence to Robin over what I am sure is a broken heart over losing a long term love and partner.

Yuma was such a kind, sweet and gentle man. Always loved running in to him.
