Not sure what to say?

What a full and amazing life! I have read his obit and sorry I missed him. I read his paper "The Berkshire Affair" at Historic Northampton and will use his extensive research and conclusions. I thank him for leaving this gift! I extend my sincere condoleances to family.

So sorry to learn of John's passing. His obituary could have run for pages. John was a man of many interests and talents, town government among them, and he will be greatly missed.

Nancy and family We were very sorry to hear about John's passing. He will surely be missed by all who knew him. RIP Gill and Anne Turcotte

Sorry for your loss . We are there Goewey daughter they just live around the corner from us on the mountain in wilbraham

Ben, I have just learned what an interesting life your father led. Stories I wish I had heard when we were kids. I am very sorry for your loss.

I met John in the 1980s when I was a newspaper reporter covering towns. He taught me so much about the town meeting form of government, and made me laugh along the way. Wilbraham won't be the same without him.

My condolences to Nancy, Benjamin and John's friends at his passing. John was never afraid to speak his mind or challenge the status quo, but his reason was to make things better. May he rest peacefully.

Thank you so much for telling this amazing man's story. I wish we had a chance to meet him but it's always a comfort to know such people have walked this Earth. The children are so impressed with his life story, and we are all so sad for your loss.

Had the pleasure of working with John when he was a Selectman for our Town of Wilbraham. John loved Wilbraham and made a constructive difference in the quality of life for our residents. Very bright, engaging individual with a passion for making a difference who will be missed. God bless John and my sincere condolences to the Lovejoy family.
