Not sure what to say?

John and Kathy were my sister's (Major Donna Porter-Simmons) Godparents! I do not doubt that he is in heaven with her making her laugh and assuring her that all is well. He was always very kind to me and my family. He will be missed. May the family find peace at this time and know that he was loved by many.

I remember John back in the restaurant days always having a welcoming smile and appreciation for stopping in. John, along Kathy sure created a great family and legacy in Elkhart.

I always enjoyed going to their restaurant and seeing John´s smiling face with his wife. What a wonderful family I can´t say enough about them. They´re always so loving and giving. John will be missed tremendously. I wish I could be there for the service , but I´m out of town and won´t be back until after 1:30 in the afternoon on Saturday. May God bless your family. Judy Bond
