JOHN WAS THE ONLY HAIR STYLIST I HAD SINCE I MOVED FROM CALIFORNIA IN 1967 . HE WAS MY FRIEND TOO. OUR KIDS WERE ABOUT THE SAME AGE . I LIVED ABOUT A HALF A MILE NORTH OF HIM. OFTEN I WOULD COME IN TO THE SHOP AND THERE WOULD BE SOMEONE IN THE CHAIR I KNEW. JOHN TOOK GREAT CARE OF ME ALL THESE YEARS. I ALWAYS GOT COMPLEMENTS ON MY HAIR CUTS. I SENT FRIENDS TO JOHN AND THEY BECAME PATIENTS AS JOHN USED TO CALL US . JOHN AND I WERE ONLY
FOUR MONTHS APART AGE WISE. I WILL MISS YOU MY FRIEND....

We had the great good fortune to move in next door to John, Phyllis, Angela and Tony in January 1971, and they have been our wonderful neighbors ever since. We miss John of course, but in our minds he is still there, always full of good cheer and eager to share stories about our kids and grandkids, as well as to poke fun at us for working too much, and with fun tales from his barber shop world. Thanks for everything.

John was like a big brother to me and always made sure to ask if I needed anything. He was kind, generous, thoughtful. I have many memories over the last 50 years of all the gatherings that occurred. Many laughs and great times!
His wife and children were his pride and joy. God rest in piece my friend !

Will always remember Johns smile and twinkle in his eyes when you showed up with a Dicks burger and milkshake. The only other thing that made him happier than that was when he spoke about his kids, Angela and Anthony.
Every time I would leave Phylliss and Johns house he would always remind me to say hello to my husband.
He will be missed
