Not sure what to say?

John and Gene were the best neighbors and friends. Their loving personality and will to share their love stories and fun times we all shared. It was common that we all would stand in the street with a neighbor conversation that it wouldn't be to long another neighbor would join us. That's the was it was on Carroll Dr. All will be missed and remembered of the good times we shared.

When we think of John-- we remember his fun sense of humor. In a everyday conversation he seems to bring it to life with a laugh or a zinger to make a memorable moment. We remember his warm smile he carries with him and shares with others. Giving his heart in all he did and caring of others in time of need. John did alot for his neighbors. I recall lots of trips he would make for Jack and Carol Ball. We are very greatful that John come in our lives and he will always be remembered.

So sorry to hear of John's passing. Remember him golfing at Unity when I played there. And he was such a good neighbor to my sister and brother-in-law Carol and Jack Ball. We send our
condolences.

Father you will be missed and forever loved. I will miss our nightly phone calls and our golf rounds. Keep the gate open on the other side we will see you there I'm sure of that.

John, I was sad to hear of your loss. I will always remember those times when your dad would drop by our office to say hello, wearing his coveralls and favorite golf hat. He was adorable and always made us smile. Thank you for sharing him with us. Love, Janece

Dear Johnny, I am so sorry to learn of your dad's passing. I remember your parents so well from when we all attended church together. They are both the loveliest, sweetest people--which must be why I remember you as just the nicest guy! I lost both of my parents in the past several years, and I know how very hard it is to say goodbye. I know you'll find a lot of comfort in memories of a long, well-lived life. And what an accomplishment, to have served in 3 theaters of operation in WWII. ...

Johnny,

So sorry to hear about your dad's passing. Your dad, my dad, and many others were the greatest generation. God bless you and yours during this time. Most sincerely, Jesse (Ed) James. Your old classmate from LSHS.
