Not sure what to say?

John continues to serve St. Joseph´s Church through his recording of the Holy Rosary, which is played before the 4 pm vigil mass every Saturday.

Mr. Lukancic was always the educator, advisor and best friend...even to a stranger. He was an angel. I was blessed to have met him and spend time with him. I will miss his gentle nature. Rest in Heaven, Sir <3

John was a true gentleman, outstanding educator and dedicated friend. He was always willing to step up and help those in need. My sincere sympathies to his family.

Kathy & Tom, I am so very sorry for your loss. Your dad was a good and kind man. My Mom knew him as a child and often said how very smart he was. May God be with your family during this difficult time. Andre (Andy)

John was truly an outstanding gentleman. Any problems I had could be taken to him for advice. He loved people and always wanted the best for everyone. A very religious individual who has done his FATHER'S work on this earth. May he rest in peace in heaven.

My first position in education was as a teacher at West View in 1968. John had a great influence on me because of his dedication to the school and students. He was an outstanding mentor and person.

John's recitation of "One Solitary Life" during Christmas mass at St Joseph's Church will remain forever etched in the memories of all blessed to have heard it.

Mr. Education -- that was John. He was my neighbor for a time in Crest Hill. My husband Jack Kelly, now deceased, was a teacher, principal and eventually a supt., and always spoke so highly of John. My sympathy to the Lukancic family. An outstanding American family.

So sorry to hear of John's passing, he can now share more memories with Fred. We had many good times together when we lived in the Joliet area, our age is catching up with us
