Not sure what to say?

Mr. Luksus,
During the summer months, my mom, Phyllis, and I used to walk most mornings from the monument, past your house, then back to the monument. On a few occasions, John would be on your driveway near the street when we would pass by, and he would smile at us. We would exchange greetings, then continue our walk. Although we had never spoken more than a "hello" to one another, we always found him to be pleasant, and looked forward to seeing him during our morning routine. We are both...

So sad to hear of Gene's passing. Will always remember the good times at the Oasis. Was such a peaceful man.

Dear Tzaims,
We were so sorry to hear about Gene. He was a very sweet and kind man, and this must be so hard for you. I didn't know you were brothers, and I think that is a wonderful story. I am glad you found each other! Nancy and Peter

Gene was a gentle, generous, nice man and I will miss him

Gene taught me a very important life lesson. I thought of Gene as just "a hippy" WOW was I ever wrong.
I heard stories of an incredible life when he would come into the station. A life that was lived to the fullest. A very peaceful man, soft spoken, kind and respectful. I will miss my conversations with him. Thank you Gene for teaching me not to pre-judge. You were a great man and I will miss you.
To his family and friends I am very sorry for your loss.
Kevin

Dear Tzaims,
So sorry to hear of Gene's passing. How devastating for you to lose a dear friend and sibling and one so close to your heart. The last time we saw him of course was that wonderful dinner on the Hill with Anne and Hugh. How sweet and gentle he was. Please accept our condolences on your loss.
With love from,
The McKennas

Dear Friend, we will miss you.
