John was a mentor to me from the time I graduated college through the purchase and growth of my business. He advised me on the basketball court about my lack of defense when covering him. He advised me while seeking a job as I graduated college. He checked in with me when I worked at Monarch Life Insurance Company and my office was next door to him while at Landry Lyons and Whyte. My memories of this man are too many and too sorrowful to recount at this time. I am sitting in front of my computer with tears flowing retracing the years beginning in 1957 when I pitched and he caught. I am so deeply sorry to hear this dreadful news.
