Not sure what to say?

Condolences to the family. My son recently purchased a vintage Spalding Golf Bag with John name on it for his vintage Golf collection.

We used to just call him "Pro." That was the way he conducted himself both on and off the golf course. He gave me one of my first jobs when he was "Pro" at Clear Lake so many years ago. Hit 'em straight up there, Pro.

My deepest condolences to the Maca family - you all are in my thoughts and prayers.

In 1989 I had the good fortune to go to work at Bay Oaks Country Club and meet Mr. John Maca. I feel privileged to have worked with him and so honored to call him a friend. John was well respected as a golf professional and as a genuinely nice, nice man. He was a teacher, a friend and an inspiration. John Maca will be thought of and remembered on golf courses well beyond this community for a very long time to come, and always with a smile. So rest well dear Pro, you’ve earned it!

GOD BLESS JOHNNY MACA---MY CONDOLENCES TO JOANN AND JOHN JOHN AS WE USED TO CALL HIM---I WORKED FOR JOHNNY MANY YEARS AGO AND HE WAS THE BEST--HE IS FISHING WITH GOD AND HIS FRIENDS TODAY--HE WILL BE MISSED--WE ALL LOVED HIM---

God Bless John Maca!!!!
Johnny Maca was one of the greatest persons I have ever known.
I was a member of Clear Lake for many years. Most of what I know about golf and bay fishing, I learned from "Oso". I feel in my heart that Johnny is right now showing GOD how to golf or fish.

We would like to express our condolences to the Maca family.Felis & I and our four sons have fond memories of the Clear Lake Golf Club...Circa 1973- 1986. I was involved with the Pan American Golf Association & headed up Junior Golf for many years....John always came through and supported our program. He was a kind, generous and wonderful man.

Dear Maca Family,
Please accept my sincerest condolences. During the six years I worked at Bay Oaks CC, I grew to know and love John Maca. I am honored and privileged to have known such a fine man, and true humanitarian. I will always treasure my memories of him - May he rest in peace and in the comfort of our Lord's embrace.
