hey dad, it was raining all day today and i thought of you! you are loved and missed and will never be forgotten. i remember what you said to me about my upcoming birthday and i am grateful for your presence.


wwjmd? hey dad, thinking of you and wish you where here to give me some advice. guess i will have to rely on prayer this time. btw, how is the view from up there? bet you can see lots of bridges. give uncle james, grandma mabel and grandpa bill, unclebill, auntie caroline and all the rest hugs for me,

we are doing great down here in earth's schoolroom. mom has a skunk problem but other than that we are doing well.

I was fortunate to have worked with John for several years in the Placer County Building Department.John was an effective head of the Public Works Department. He was a well respected administrator valued by all. His many efforts and achievements were greatly appreciated.
It was a true honor to work under his capable direction. He touched many lives and was instrumental in furthering the positive...

John Maccoun was often referred to as the Sixth Supervisor in Placer County, he hired me in 1978 and I am forever grateful...John Marin

Mr MacCoun was very a kind and loving person. Rarely ever, we come across people who have such profound impact on others, if they have met him only briefly. May his soul rest in peace.

Mr. MacCoun was such a blessing to all the people. His service in so many ways made our world, our country, our state and our communities a safer and better place. He will be sorely missed but we wish him "Bon voyage!"
