I am sorry to hear the news of Dr MacDougall passing. He was one of my favorite teachers at UAH. He was challenging, but made the classes fun. I remember talking to him in his office as a freshman in 1977. He told me whatever I did, he knew I would be successful. I have thought about our visits often through the years. It gave me confidence in school, work and family. He will be missed.

I was looking up someone else's obituary and just happened to see Dr. MacDougall's. He was my favorite professor at UAH and his guidance greatly and positively influenced my professional path. I thoroughly enjoyed attending his classes. I am so sorry for your loss.

One of my favorite professors while I was at UAH. Intellectual but entertaining, he had enough "real world" experience to balance the academia. Please accept my sympathy.
